Evidence first
Reconstruction is driven by reproducible observation of what the original software does — not by guesswork. The research repository holds the methods, the per-target dossiers, and the verification standards.
What's in the research repository
- Target inventory — the twelve targets, with objective and initial approach.
- Capability model (C1–C9) — how reconstruction is measured, and the observed / implemented / verified coverage triplet.
- Origin dossier — the worked example and pilot.
- Legal basis — why compatible reconstruction on lawfully held copies is defensible, and where the limits are.
Evidence standards
Every claim carries the command, file, or source that produced it. Statements are marked ESTABLISHED orHYPOTHESIS / NEEDS-OBSERVATION, and never promoted from one to the other without evidence. Negative results are welcome and held to the same standard.
